Doug Currie CPA CA

Doug was born in a log cabin shortly after the dinosaurs became extinct.  He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 1979.  After articling with Coopers & Lybrand in Saskatoon, he became a Chartered Accountant in 1981.

Doug spent several years working in industry before returning to public practice as a partner with Moline & Currie Chartered Accountants in 1986 in La Ronge, Sask.  He moved to Grande Prairie with his wife and two lovely daughters in 1995 to work for Marcel Joberty Professional Corporation. In 1999 he became a partner at Lorenz & Currie Chartered Accountants with the retirement of Mr. Joberty.  The firm has changed names and partners over the intervening years, but Doug’s focus remains on providing the best service possible to small private corporations, farmers and personal income tax clients.
